Since childhood, Jeanine dreamed and envisioned being in the entertainment industry and impact the world. PROJECTS
Nestled in every spare crack and crevice, Dust Bunnies thrive in their bustling society of Dustyland. Always at risk of being overtaken by the Cleaners, each core tribe has established effective measures to prevent their carefully constructed communities from being destroyed. As a safety precaution, most Dust Bunnies stay within their protected communities, rarely associating with outsiders who threaten the safety of the entire house with their messy behaviors and habits, but 14 year old Lucy is no such bunny.
Years ago, Lucy’s mother Rose, left their home in Mattress Springs to graciously welcome and educate new foreigners who had arrived on the other side of the house. While she was gone, a spontaneous deep cleaning was presumed to have tragically tidied her up and she was never to be seen by her family again. Although Lucy still had her father and older brothers, the absence of her mother left an empty place in her heart and life, especially as she began blossoming into a young woman.
One day, during her brother’s Cottonball game, Lucy and her best friend Ashleee snuck away in search of something more interesting than their predictable world under the bed. What they thought would be an uneventful outing became very complicated when Lucy discovered a series of mysterious riddles that lead her to believe they may not really know what happened to her mom after all. Determined to uncover the truth, Lucy sets out to solve the expanding trail of clues and gets caught up in a sweeping adventure.
Raised in the heart of Harlem, son of African Immigrants and aspiring comedian Kevin Mensa is determined separate himself from his unconventional family ties. Always hustling for his next big break, Kevin’s world comes to a screeching halt when his longtime girlfriend delivers the news that he’s about to be a daddy. As the panic of diapers and daycare sets in, the sudden news of his Grandfather’s passing and a subsequent inheritance seem to be the answer to his prayers. Joined by his best friend Joe, Kevin jets off to his native land with Ghanian dollar signs twinkling in his eyes. But as the pair struggle through tribal rituals to honor the late Chief; some bullies, a Belgian, a stubborn ass and a blow from back home reek havoc on his plans and threaten the promising future that is dangling just within his reach.
As children, Brett Patterson and Tyler Clemens were friends living on the same street. After years of sexual abuse at the hands of a nearby neighbor, Brett moved away with his family, forever leaving Tyler and the secret behind. As men, having never healed the common wounds of their youth, they exist at opposite ends of the spectrum. However, when Tyler arrives, unexpectedly bearing the baggage of their childhood, the past can no longer be denied.
